I am not writing this email as a complaint, I just purchased your cleaning product a few days ago. I was impressed by the girl that sold it to me but to tell you the truth I was not a hundred sold that it was all she said it was. And after I bought it I even told my daughter that I must have been crazy to pay that much for a cleaning product. I had a set of shower curtains that had somehow gotten greasy or something on them when I was moving from Indiana to North Carolina. Cleaning Hints & Mixing Directions for… AVERAGE 20X

Below are the cleaning hints and mixing directions (how much water to put to ADVANAGE 20X).

We also offer videos showing how to mix and apply the diluted 20X to tackle the most frequent cleaning chores.

Glass/Mirrors To 32 ounces of water, add one (1) cap of ADVANAGE 20X. Spray on the surface, massage it in, then buff it dry. NOTE: To avoid streaking, wipe as you spray, and never clean in direct sunlight.

dividers (Ink, Crayons, Pencil) Spray ADVANAGE 20X on wallpaper and wipe away with a dry cloth. Wipe down the wall panels with the same solution. Use a non-abrasive scouring pad to remove grease accumulation.

 

Carpets

Spray ADVANAGE 20X on a place and let it sit for 30 seconds. Wipe dry with a towel after rinsing with clean water. When utilizing a carpet wash machine, first vacuum the area to be cleaned, removing any loose particles. Using one (1) cup of ADVANAGE 20X for every five (5) gallons of water, clean the carpet, paying special attention to extremely dirty areas. Allow drying before vacuuming again. To clean without a machine, use the same processes as above, removing soil with a soft bristle brush, rinsing, and wiping clean with a towel.

 

Furniture

NOTE: Before cleaning, test the fabric for colorfastness and bleeding. For spot cleaning, spray a 20:1 solution over the soiled area and massage with a dry cloth in a circular motion. Use 15:1 for tough stains and leave for 3 to 5 minutes. You may help yourself by rubbing in a circular motion with a nylon brush. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry with a towel.

 

Laundry

For set-in stains, use a ratio of 2:1; test before applying. Spray 20:1 on areas or the ring-around-the-collar for pre-washing. Allow it to stand for 30 to 60 seconds before rubbing with a nylon brush or cloth. Add to your usual washing machine load. You may also mix in 1/2 cup ADVANAGE 20X in your wash load. For new ink stains on clothing, lay a towel below the stain and, after spraying straight onto the towel, massage in a circular motion with the sprayer’s nozzle over the stain. Spray the affected area immediately and allow it to stand for five (5) minutes for old stains. Add to your usual washing machine load.

 

Candle Wax, Gum, and Glue

Punch holes in the gum, glue, or candle wax with a pin or needle and spray with a 20:1 dilution. Allow for 60 seconds before removing the residue with a nylon brush.

Surface Cleaning and Preparation for Painting Before painting, use a 20:1 dilution of ADVANAGE 20X as a bonder. ADVANAGE 20X can also be used as a thinner by diluting it 10:1 per gallon of paint.

 

Linoleum/Tile

To clean floors in general, use a 20:1 dilution of ADVANAGE 20X, then rinse. A nonabrasive scrubbing pad can be used to remove stubborn stains. To remove wax accumulation, use an ADVANAGE 20X dilution of 2:1 with an abrasive pad as a wax remover. Rinse. (WARNING: Do not use on a no-wax floor!)

Formica, Ceramics, Marble, Brass, Porcelain, Venetian Blinds, Shingles, Sidings, Stainless Steel, and Office Equipment are some of the products we provide. All of the aforementioned items may be cleaned with a 20:1 dilution of ADVANAGE 20X. Spray on, then wipe clean and rinse with a non-abrasive scrounges pad. Allow ADVANAGE 20X to stand for 1 to 2 minutes before wiping clean for stubborn stains. Rinse.

NOTE: Do not spray directly into telephones, laptops, or other electronic devices. Clean filthy spots using a damp cloth.

 

Brick, Mildew, and Screens

Spray ADVANAGE 20X at a 20:1 ratio onto a nylon brush and scrub the area to be cleaned. Rinse.

 

Jewelry

ADVANTAGE 20X can be used on any type of fine jewelry (gold and diamonds). To twenty (20) ounces of water, add one (1) ounce of Immerse jewelry (but not watches) in the solution for 1 to 2 minutes. Remove and rinse well with clean water. Wipe clean with a dry towel. Use the same dilution for watches, but replace by rubbing the wristbands with a nylon brush.

NOTICE: Do not use on zirconium or electroplated gold. Items must be made of pure gold.

Stains from Pets Spray ADVANAGE 20X at a 15:1 dilution on the affected area and massage in a circular motion with a nylon brush until the stain is eliminated. Rinse and pat dry. Allow it to stand for 2 to 3 minutes for stubborn stains. Rinse and pat dry.

Stains from liquor, soda, coffee, food, and grass Pre-soak the region for 60 seconds in a 10:1 dilution of ADVANAGE 20X. Follow the laundry directions.

More Cleaning Hints

Shower Stalls and Algae

Spray the area to be cleaned with a 10:1 dilution of ADVANAGE 20X and let 1 to 2 minutes for significant accumulation before wiping. Use an abrasive scrounge pad to clean. Rinse.

Dilutions of 7:1 Swimming Pools, Lime, Tar, and Difficult Carpet Stains Pools for Swimming Spray or pour ADVANAGE 20X into the area to be cleaned at a 7:1 dilution and leave it to stand for 3 to 5 minutes. Clean and rinse with an abrasive scouring pad or wire brush.

Tar, Lime

Allow the stained area to absorb a 7:1 dilution of ADVANAGE 20X. (about 5 to 6 minutes). Spray the area once again and clean it with an abrasive scrounge pad. Rinse.

Difficult Carpet Stains For extremely dirty carpet regions, a 7:1 dilution of ADVANAGE 20X is advised. Do not walk on the carpet until the padding has dried.

Ovens

WARNING: Spraying any liquid on electrical timing outlets can cause unit damage.

Cleaning ovens with our “Wonder Pump” Foamer is incredibly effective. Simply pump foam throughout the oven, warm for five minutes at 150°, switch off, and repeat. Clean with a green 3M-scrunge pad while it’s still heated. Wipe and rinse. To purchase a Wonder pump, go to the ‘online store.’

Asphalt/concrete (mix with hot water)

Pour ADVANAGE 20X at 1:1, or directly from the container, on oil grease patches in the driveway and work in a circular motion with a wire brush to lift the stains. Rinse thoroughly with a power hose.

 

Pipes in the home, sewer lines, and septic tanks

Twice a month, a 1:1 solution of ADVANAGE 20X followed by hot running water will keep drains, tanks, and pipes clean and odor-free.

NOTICE: Do not use direct sunlight! Also, do not spray on and leave for an extended amount of time. Immediately spray on and wipe away.

Dilution – Exterior – 20:1
Body. Using a cotton towel, clean the automobile. To aid with oxidation, use the same dilution with a nonabrasive scrounge pad. Rinse and pat dry. Fiberglass. Spray 20X and clean with a non-abrasive pad. Chrome should be rinsed and buffed. Wipe quickly after spraying. For bubbling rust, prime the surface with the same dilution and a non-abrasive cotton pad. Rinse. Whitewall Tires – Dilution 10:1 To remove dirt, spray with ADVANAGE 20X and scrub with an abrasive scouring pad.

Dilution 32:1 for Windows/Mirrors
Use the glass cleaner measures provided. Allow it to stand for a short period of time before wiping it down with a cotton towel and buffing the glass. Dilution of Rust and Brake Dust on Rims – 10:1

Degrease Engine with a 1:1 dilution Interior with a 20:1 dilution

Interiors in vinyl/leather
Spray 20 times and wipe clean with a cloth. Rinse. For tough stains, a non-abrasive scrubbing pad or nylon brush may be required.

Interior: Automobile Cloth/Velveteen Spray on the stained area and massage with a dry cloth in a circular motion. Use 15:1 for tough stains and leave for 3 to 5 minutes. You may help yourself by rubbing in a circular motion with a nylon brush. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry with a towel.

Carpets for automobiles
Spray on the affected areas and leave for 30 seconds. Wipe dry with a towel after rinsing with clean water.

Please keep in mind that cleaning tools like scouring pads, nylon, and wire brushes are indicated throughout the preceding instructions. The white scrounge is a non-abrasive pad intended for use on delicate goods or materials. The green scrounge is an abrasive pad whose principal application is to remove persistent stains or heavy buildup from non-fragile materials or surfaces. Nylon brushes have soft bristles that are ideal for removing small stains and reaching hard-to-reach spots. A wire brush is a steel abrasive brush that is used to remove heavy buildups and stains from hard surfaces such as concrete, asphalt, and so on.

NOTE: Improper use of these goods may cause scratches and/or damage to any surface, fabric, or material. Use with great caution at all times. When applying our ADVANAGE 20X on sensitive materials like upholstery, carpet, silk, or leather, always test for colorfastness and bleeding in an inconspicuous area first.
