Protecting What We Built: Why “Wonder Cleaner” Is Not Up for Grabs

There’s a difference between competition and confusion.

And when confusion is created intentionally, we act.

Recently, a product branded as “Wonder Cleaner” began appearing on Amazon and other online marketplaces — marketed by Abracadabra Brands (Industrial Potion Inc.). Let’s be clear:

It’s not Advanage.
It’s not our formula.
It’s not our brand.
And it’s not authorized.

The Trademark Is Registered and Protected

Advanage The Wonder Cleaner® is a federally registered trademark
U.S. Registration No. 2728995

It has been in continuous use since 1980 and is legally protected.

Our trademark is not a slogan.
It is not a descriptive phrase.
It is not public domain.

It is intellectual property backed by federal law.

As outlined in our formal enforcement documentation

Enforcement Playbook

, we are taking comprehensive steps to stop unauthorized use of the phrase “Wonder Cleaner” in connection with cleaning products.

Why This Matters

When another company markets a product using the same core brand name, customers are misled.

We have documented:

  • Customer confusion

  • Consumers believing they purchased Advanage

  • Complaints about a product that was not ours

  • Damage to brand trust

Trademark law exists to prevent exactly this scenario.

Under the Lanham Act, unauthorized use of a registered mark in a way that causes consumer confusion constitutes infringement.

What We Are Doing About It

We have implemented a multi-phase enforcement strategy:

1️⃣ Amazon Enforcement

Using Amazon Brand Registry and infringement reporting tools, we have formally submitted trademark violation claims to remove infringing listings.

This includes:

  • Reporting specific ASINs using the phrase “Wonder Cleaner”

  • Providing our federal registration certificate

  • Submitting documentation of consumer confusion

  • Monitoring for relisting attempts

Amazon has structured IP enforcement mechanisms, and we are using them aggressively.

2️⃣ Formal Cease and Desist

We have issued formal notice demanding:

  • Immediate cessation of “Wonder Cleaner” usage

  • Removal from all packaging and marketing

  • Withdrawal of any trademark applications containing the phrase

  • Written confirmation of compliance

These actions are documented in our enforcement plan

Enforcement Playbook

.

3️⃣ Preparedness for Litigation

If voluntary compliance is not achieved, we are fully prepared to pursue:

  • Federal trademark infringement claims

  • Injunctive relief

  • Recovery of profits

  • Destruction of infringing materials

  • Attorneys’ fees where applicable

Our position is clear:
Brand protection is not optional.

This Is About Integrity

We welcome competition. We do not welcome imitation that trades on decades of brand equity.

For over 40 years, Advanage The Wonder Cleaner® has stood for:

  • Concentrated performance

  • Professional-grade results

  • Proven reliability

We have built this brand honestly.

And we will defend it accordingly.
